Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Charlie came to visit from Los Angeles. We were very glad too see them and share Delia with them.

My First Bottle

Today Daddy fed Delia her first Bottle. It seemed to work well at the time. We tried not to feed her bottles too much in fear of her not wanting to breast feed. It seems now that she refuses to take a bottle. We are continually trying to solve this problem. We've changed types of bottles and have had very little luck. The best results are from a sippy cup, but it is still not enough milk to be a full meal. If you have any suggestions please tell us.

My first photo shoot

Grandma Laura and Brianna had a nice photo shoot of Delia. We tried on all of our clothes, and had a blast.

Delia was born at 11:04 AM, August 5th, 2010 at Winnie Plamer Hospital weighing 8lbs. 3.4 oz and was 21 inches in length. We spent nearly 5 days at the hospital before we were allowed to go home. We had a hard time picking her name, and the hospital staff continued to pester us to decide. We loved the name Delia, but couldn't decide on a middle name. We just could not come up with one, but as she was being born the song "To Love Somebody" by Nina Simone played on our computer. Finally we had our beautiful little girl, and a name to match.
