Merry Holiday

Daddy has put this blog together for Mommy (whom he loves very much) as a Christmas present. All of the posts prior to this one have been retroactively dated to the day the pictures were taken. From now on both Mommy and Daddy will be able to make posts to share with you.

Solid Food

Delia is ready to start trying solid food. We figure we'll start slow and not pressure her. We are trying "baby led weening" where she will get food that she can eat, rather than processed foods. We started with avocado, then sweet potato, pears and banana. It mostly gets everywhere, but she is progressing well.

Here Comes Santa

As we are were getting ready for Christmas time, we took a day and saw the Orlando Youth Symphony Orchestra. It was Delia's first concert. As a bonus, Santa was there. Delia was not impressed.

Thank You Nana

Nana came up from South Florida and got Delia some great gifts. Most of them are being saved for Christmas, but we did let her play with this Jenny Jump Up. I think she likes it.

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. It's too bad Delia couldn't have any of the food.

Little Monster

Halloween

For Delia's first Halloween we all dressed up. With out friends Amy, Ian and Emily from California we were the cast of the kids show "Yo Gabba Gabba".

Sleepy Time II

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch today to find the perfect pumpkin. Here is Delia and Daddy at said pumpkin patch.

Silly Faces

Daddy took some pictures of Delia making some adorable faces. I think it's time to clean up the room.

No More Stub

Finally Delia's stub from her umbilical chord fell off. We were starting to think it would never happen.

New Blanket

Aunt Jill made this wonderful blanket for Delia. She thinks it's a great place to relax.

Out Of Towners

Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Charlie came to visit from Los Angeles. We were very glad too see them and share Delia with them.

My First Bottle

Today Daddy fed Delia her first Bottle. It seemed to work well at the time. We tried not to feed her bottles too much in fear of her not wanting to breast feed. It seems now that she refuses to take a bottle. We are continually trying to solve this problem. We've changed types of bottles and have had very little luck. The best results are from a sippy cup, but it is still not enough milk to be a full meal. If you have any suggestions please tell us.
